Chapter One - Dinner with Daisy May 8 - 1922
I went to D's house yesterday and Daisy and I hung out all day. She doesn't really have much to say - and I like it that way - I never feel like I have to be on guard like I do with others. Luckily her cousin, Nick came over and added a little excitement.
I told Daisy later that her cousin pretty cute and that I wouldn't mind an affair with him if that's what the summer brings. I think he likes me too, but I'm not sure - he didn't say much. Daisy's boar of a husband showed up and made dinner all about him: "The white race" this... "The colored people" that... He had to let all of know how important he is.
Some fun happened when Tom go a phone call - Daisy ran out and I'm sure they were fighting. Daisy whined about Tom hurting her finger and the whole thing took a turn - God knows what Nick thinks of us.

Chapter 1
Daisy and her stupid friends - Chapter 1
So Daisy brought some people to the house. I think one of them was her cousin or something - he was boring and didn't say much. He hadn't read "Rise of the Colored Nations" so he wasn't able to discuss intellectual matters with me. We are really in trouble as a society if people don't start realizing that the lower classes are dangerous to our place in society - could you imagine? Everything would fall to ruin. It's our job as the wealthy to make sure rules of society are enforced.
